***Please Note***
The 2018 Jack Thomas Straits Race has been cancelled.

***Please Note***
The 2017 Jack Thomas Straits Race has been cancelled.

The reason is that this year we have had a total of just 8 entries.
Given the amount of goodwill, costs of the boat cover from Plas Menai, the Conway Center, and the RNLI plus other associated costs incurred to make the swim happen, so few entries do not make the event viable.

We would like to apologise to the people who actually have entered. All cheques or payments will, of course, be returned.

In 1957 a young Garfield Thomas won the race and he returned to race again 50 years later in 2007.
Well here he is finishing the 60th anniversary race in 2015 !
